Just Three Stories
The following post was not written by me. It was written by Steve Jobs, one of the founders of Apple, and delivered as a commencement speech in 2005 to Stanford University. The advice within it is simple but direct and beautiful.
Discover the thrill of exploration and the beauty of nature.
At FOORTREK, we believe that every individual’s journey is unique, an exploration of identity, purpose,
and transformation.
Our mission is to guide and inspire those on their personal treks, whether they are seeking, discovering or embracing their true selves. Through a rich tapestry of engaging content, including insightful videos, inspiring photographs, thought-provoking articles and dynamic public speaking engagements, we aim to be a beacon for those navigating the landscapes of life.
We are committed to fostering a community where stories of transformation are shared and celebrated. As we have journeyed through our own transformations, we extend our experiences to help others find their path. Our approach is holistic, encompassing physical, mental and spiritual growth, and tailored to resonate with each individual’s unique quest.
At FOORTREK, we don’t just encourage the discovery of adventure and success; we empower you to define and embark on your own extraordinary trek.
I am a 20 year professor teaching business, economics, and finance courses around the world transitioning in helping others achieve goals from the classroom to nature. I have hiked all 58 Colorado 14ers and currently running seven ultra marathons on seven continents in less than a year.
My current quest has me traveling the world running an ultra marathon on all seven continents. Currently, I have successfully run on six continents including North America, Asia, Oceania, Antarctica, Europe, and Africa. My final continent will be South America where in September I will run in Patagonia.
FoorTrek’s adventures have been life-changing. I’ve discovered a passion for exploration that I never knew I had.
