Summit to Mt. Katahdin – Tallest Peak in Maine.

In 1989, I attempted to summit Mt. Katahdin as a Boy Scout while attending a High Adventure Base. We didn’t make it. Nearly 24 years later, a dream comes true. This was my 4th state highpoint in 4 days. Located in Baxter State Park, Mt. Katahdin is the tallest peak in the State of Maine 5,268 feet.
